Atrium Event Room
Located on the 3rd floor of the Bluewater Resort Tower, this event room is perfect for a larger event. This room utilizes the atrium for cocktail hour, food, and beverage displays, opening up the entire space for your event. Giving you plenty of room for a DJ and dancing. A large wall mounted monitor allows you to add video or slide shows to your event. This room holds up to 120 guests.
Blue Eyes Lounge
Located on the 15th floor of the Bluewater Resort Tower, this event room overlooks the beach and the Atlantic ocean. The nautical atmosphere of large glass windows and dark wood built-in book cabinetry all comes together with a beautiful large signature bar. Your guests will love the balcony view as they watch the Carolina sunset. A large wall mounted monitor allows you to customize your event with video or slideshows. This room holds up to 55 guests.

Your dream beach wedding is only a few steps away from the Bluewater Resort. Don’t want the sand in your shoes? We also have an oceanfront patio. It's the perfect backdrop for a beachside ceremony, family photos, or a cocktail hour at our seasonal tiki bar.
Our Location
The Bluewater is an oceanfront resort located at the southern end of the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach, SC. We are 2 miles from the Myrtle Beach International Airport, and conveniently located to Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, as well as other area attractions.
Our Resort
Our property is comprised of 4 buildings; our main oceanfront building with 15 floors, and two buildings (referred to as villas) directly across the street with 4 floors each, and a 5 level parking garage. Guests renting condos at the resort overnight have full access to amenities in either building. Including 1wading pool, 1 lazy river, 1 indoor / outdoor pool, 4 jacuzzis, dry sauna, and fitness center. All rooms at the Bluewater Resort feature kitchens or kitchenettes and private balconies. Choose from studios, 1 or 2 bedroom condos. We have an on-site restaurant(catering available), seasonal tiki bar, 24/7 security, and secured complimentary 5 level garage parking. We can arrange accommodations for you and your guests right on the property.
Event Planning Services
The resort has partnered with Something Borrowed Event Rentals to offer linens, decor rentals, event planning, and coordination to help make the planning process easier. They will also work with your planner or point of contact for a hassle free experience. They provide a wide selection of decor that is constantly changing; arches, centerpieces, lanterns, signs, faux flowers, greenery, and much, much more.
